Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Forrest Wilkerson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harald Jensen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Forrest Wilkerson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Harald Jensen!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Patrick Alders and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wilkerson rushes Jensen and presses him up against the cage.

Jensen gets control of Wilkerson's arms and successfully pulls guard. Jensen will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Wilkerson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jensen gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Jensen wants to control from the top but Wilkerson keeps moving.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Jensen drops back, looking for a kneebar! Wilkerson looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Wilkerson looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Wilkerson!

Jensen is looking to regain half guard here but Wilkerson keeps moving and retains side control.
Jensen parries the strikes from Wilkerson easily there. Wilkerson is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Jensen to escape.

Jensen is pushing Wilkerson's head away, looking to escape. Wilkerson manages to hold on to the position though.

Jensen changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Wilkerson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Jensen wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Wilkerson, who protects the arm well.

Jensen fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Wilkerson to the ground. Jensen is now in Wilkerson's guard.

Wilkerson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jensen can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

That was a close second round but I would say that Forrest Wilkerson will probably get the nod.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Wilkerson feints and then cracks Jensen's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Jensen down.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Jensen blocks a head kick by Wilkerson.
Despite the aggression on Jensen's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Jensen moves into the clinch.
Jensen can't find room to land a body shot as Wilkerson controls the action.
Wilkerson is trying to drag Jensen to the mat but Jensen just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Jensen breaks from the clinch.
Jensen misses with a head kick.
As Jensen backs away, Wilkerson returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Forrest Wilkerson is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Forrest Wilkerson.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Wilkerson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
