Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Durham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clay Morrows (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Durham might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Unstoppable by Roy Jones jr.. Morrows is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: What Its Like. Clay Morrows has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Michael Durham's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morrows tries to land a front kick but Durham steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Morrows looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Good exchange - Durham coming out on top.
Clay Morrows seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Durham scores with the left hand. Morrows knows he should have avoided that one.

It looks like Clay Morrows has been cut.

Durham closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Durham lands in his opponent's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Durham postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Durham drops back looking for a leg! Morrows is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Morrows manages to kick Durham off! Durham jumps back into Morrows's guard.
Morrows keeping moving, preventing Durham from controlling successfully.
Durham slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Durham looking to sit in guard and control but Morrows gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Morrows must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Durham working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Morrows doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Morrows manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Durham controls Morrows momentarily but Morrows frees himself.

Durham looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Morrows won't allow Durham to sweep him here.

Durham has his foot on Morrows's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Morrows works his way back into a safe position though.

Durham looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Morrows has picked Durham up and slammed him! Durham can't keep hold of the triangle and Morrows manages to pass to side control!
Durham is trying to improve his position.

Durham is trying to control Morrows's posture but Morrows avoids it.
Durham tries to bench press Morrows off him but Morrows keeps the position.
Durham regains half guard.

Durham has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Morrows. Oh but Durham has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Morrows goes limp - he's gone! Durham jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
