Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Marcin Kowalczyk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Filet Mignon!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Shimada.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mignon misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Mignon with a hook.
Kowalczyk seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Mignon bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Kowalczyk's head backwards.
Mignon throws a right and a left that Kowalczyk avoids nicely.
Mignon misses with a jab, cross combination.

Kowalczyk has taken the fight to the clinch.

Kowalczyk's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Mignon lands a left and a right that send Kowalczyk crashing to the mat, dazed. Mignon thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Kowalczyk is rocked!

It looks like Marcin Kowalczyk has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kowalczyk keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Mignon.
Kowalczyk tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mignon paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Kowalczyk drops his hands momentarily. Mignon doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Kowalczyk staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Kowalczyk doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Filet Mignon!
