The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sandcastle circles away quickly and effectively.
Sandcastle looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Sandcastle comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Sandcastle throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Sandcastle slips under a jab from Smith.

Sandcastle gets tackled into the cage by Smith. Smith maintains the clinch.

Smith lands a left hand that snaps the head of Sandcastle backwards.
With the fighters up against the cage, Smith throws an elbow but misses.

Sandcastle is looking to control Smith's arms but Smith gets an underhook and turns him. Now Sandcastle has his back to the cage.
Smith could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Smith drops Sandcastle onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Sandcastle is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
