Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nando De Leeuw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Snuka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Snuka has chosen Superfly by Curtis Mayfield as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

De Leeuw stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and De Leeuw wants it to stay on the feet.
Snuka throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. De Leeuw was covering up waiting for the punch and Snuka finishes the takedown easily into guard.
De Leeuw pushes Snuka off and scrambles back to his feet.

The crowd cheers as Snuka lands an impressive looking overhand right. De Leeuw doesn't seem phased though.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Snuka shoots for a double leg takedown but De Leeuw sprawls well. He's pushed Snuka's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as De Leeuw takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
I was talking to De Leeuw 's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Snuka throws a big uppercut that drops De Leeuw ! More strikes from Snuka and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! De Leeuw lies dazed against the cage as Snuka celebrates with his cornermen!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jimmy Snuka!
As Jimmy Snuka got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: I've been in this game a LONG time. I'm here to reinvent myself, so all of you 155 and 170 pounders better watch out!'.
