Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kuula Natsi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Malachi Leatherwood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Natsi shoots for a double leg takedown but Leatherwood sprawls well. He's pushed Natsi's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Natsi has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Natsi fails with the takedown
and Leatherwood counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Natsi tries to move into range but Leatherwood moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

It looks like Kuula Natsi has been cut.
Natsi sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Leatherwood clinches up with Natsi and pushes him back against the cage.
Natsi drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Leatherwood gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kuula Natsi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Leatherwood prevents the takedown attempt.
Natsi jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Leatherwood walks away with a smile on his face. Natsi gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Leatherwood makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Leatherwood.

Leatherwood is looking to stand up but Natsi isn't so interested in that idea.
Leatherwood is adopting a defensive guard.

Natsi working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Natsi trying to control the position from guard on top but Leatherwood is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Leatherwood preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Natsi is looking to work some ground and pound but Leatherwood has wrist control.
Natsi with a flurry of punches that miss.
Natsi throws a strike but Leatherwood rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Leatherwood wanted to stand there but Natsi had control of the position.

Natsi is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Leatherwood defends well.

Leatherwood decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

and Leatherwood cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Leatherwood swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
and Leatherwood counters with a nice right hand that sends Natsi toppling to the canvas! Natsi scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Leatherwood finish him?!

Natsi is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Leatherwood cracks Natsi with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Natsi looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Leatherwood finish him?
Oh Natsi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Kuula Natsi's cut is getting worse.

Natsi throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Leatherwood tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Natsi is in Leatherwood's guard.

Leatherwood has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Natsi has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Natsi seems to have got his legs back now.
Natsi goes for a takedown in the clinch but Leatherwood prevents it.
Still in the clinch, Leatherwood scores with a nice short uppercut.
Natsi has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Leatherwood is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Leatherwood lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Leatherwood drops Natsi onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Natsi is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
The two fighters are battling for control here. Natsi trying to break out of Leatherwood's Thai clinch. Leatherwood unloads with a massive knee right up the middle that drops Natsi to the canvas! He's out cold! Wow, what a knee by Leatherwood!
