Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kongsak Sitboonme (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phallos Eugene (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Phallos Eugene is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Eugene lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Eugene gets through Sitboonme's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Sitboonme breaks from the clinch.
Eugene's coach down at Pro Pain Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Eugene's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Sitboonme goes for a double leg but Eugene avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Eugene continues to drive forward.
Sitboonme tries to clinch there but Eugene circles away.
Eugene connects with a right hand. Sitboonme shakes it off.
Sitboonme shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Eugene connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Sitboonme throws a push kick but Eugene slaps the foot to one side.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sitboonme's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Eugene cracks Sitboonme with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Eugene feints and then cracks Sitboonme's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Sitboonme down.

Sitboonme tries to clinch up but Eugene circles away and keeps his distance.

Eugene's jab looks to have found its range, popping Sitboonme under the eye.

Sitboonme breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Sitboonme closes the distance and clinches up with Eugene, looking for a takedown. Sitboonme pushes Eugene against the cage but Eugene circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kongsak Sitboonme. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Eugene looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Sitboonme really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Sitboonme will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Eugene closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Eugene creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Eugene scores with a nice hook to the head.
Sitboonme is looking to take this one to the mat.
Eugene jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Sitboonme walks away with a smile on his face. Eugene gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Sitboonme takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Phallos Eugene seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Eugene thows a body kick. Sitboonme tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Eugene lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Eugene throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
As Eugene looks to move away, Sitboonme throws a big counter combo but Eugene just gets out of the way.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Sitboonme takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Sitboonme misses with a takedown attempt - Eugene sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Eugene is looking for the big counter here.
Eugene bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Sitboonme's head backwards.
Sitboonme shoots in for a takedown but Eugene shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
As Sitboonme backs off Eugene throws a huge counter combo but Sitboonme manages to avoid it all.
Eugene is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Eugene lands a nice shot that snaps Sitboonme's head back.

Sitboonme is rocked!
Sitboonme looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Oh Sitboonme is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Eugene throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Sitboonme gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Sitboonme tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Eugene is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Sitboonme buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Sitboonme!! Sitboonme is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Eugene throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
