Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Grisha Kamenov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Stuard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Stuard is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Stuard !
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Steve Montenegro and John Roberts.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A bone on bone clash there as Kamenov blocks the leg kick.
Stuard throws a leg kick but Kamenov sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Kamenov tries a head kick but it misses.
Stuard with the counter takedown but Kamenov avoids it easily.
Stuard throws a leg kick but Kamenov sees it coming and moves out of range.
Stuard moves out of range of the body kick from Kamenov.
Stuard throws a chopping leg kick but Kamenov manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
A slapping body kick lands there for Kamenov.
Good work by Kamenov as he checks the leg kick.
Stuard avoids the head kick by Kamenov.
And Stuard tries to counter it with a takedown but Kamenov pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Kamenov pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kamenov looks for the body kick but Stuard saw that one coming.
Kamenov throws a head kick but Stuard moves out of range.
Stuard wants to slow Kamenov down by chopping away at his legs.
Kamenov went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stuard blocks a head kick by Kamenov.
And Stuard tries to counter it with a takedown but Kamenov pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Stuard shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Stuard missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

Kamenov looking for submissions off his back.
Kamenov is breathing heavily.

Kamenov is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Stuard pulls his head out easily.
Kamenov is trying to get back to full guard.

Stuard is working for a submission of some sort.
Stuard throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Stuard wants to pass the guard but Kamenov is defending well.
Kamenov moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Stuard drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Kamenov dives on top into guard.

Kamenov got a little sloppy there for a moment and Stuard has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kamenov has managed to get both his arms back between Stuard 's legs - danger averted.

Kamenov is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Stuard is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kamenov defends well.

Kamenov drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kamenov jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Kamenov trying to control the position from guard on top but Stuard is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Stuard can do anything to dispel that myth.

Stuard is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kamenov is aware though and is defending well.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kamenov trying to control but Stuard is working from the bottom.
Stuard really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kamenov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Stuard working for a triangle but Kamenov defends it easily.

Kamenov drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Kamenov as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Stuard screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Kamenov! Nice submission victory there!
