Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between JT Dillon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Speva Koso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, JT Dillon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Speva Koso!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Atkins and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A chopping leg kick lands by Dillon.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Dillon.
The fight stays on the outside here - Koso looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Koso has his takedown stuffed
and Dillon counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Koso shoots in for a takedown but Dillon shows good takedown defense.
Dillon feinted there with a counter leg kick.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Koso checks a leg kick.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Dillon lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Koso has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Koso and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Koso motions for Dillon to come forward. Koso throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Dillon clobbers Koso with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Dillon tries to score with a low kick but Koso moves his leg out of the way.
Dillon looks to throw the jab but Koso is out of range.
JT Dillon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dillon throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Koso shoots in and drives through. Dillon sprawls well.

Koso tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dillon paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Koso looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Dillon moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Koso fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dillon avoids it really well and circles away.

Koso is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Koso slips a jab from Dillon.
Koso shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dillon as he avoids it easily.
Dillon throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Koso sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Koso shoots in but Dillon avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Dillon defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Koso.
Crunch! Dillon slams his shin into Koso's torso.
Dillon explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Koso has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Dillon.
Koso has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Dillon.
Koso looks winded!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Dillon goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Koso takes one to the side of the head.
A solid leg kick lands there for Dillon.
Dillon throws a leg kick that misses.
Koso is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Koso takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Dillon.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

JT Dillon dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Dillon lands with a thumping leg kick.
Dillon moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Dillon fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Koso.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Koso might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Dillon has got the better of the exchanges.

Koso moves into range and clinches up with Dillon.
Dillon goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Koso stalling the fight.

Dillon wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Koso has him pressed against the cage.

Koso tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

JT Dillon is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Koso changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dillon tries to avoid it but Koso manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dillon to the ground. Dillon escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Dillon appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Koso stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Dillon.
Dillon throws a jab but it's blocked by Koso.

Dillon is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Koso can do to turn this around?

Koso shoots in looking for a takedown but Dillon manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Koso's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Koso throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dillon's waist but Dillon gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Koso off to one side.

Dillon thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Koso if he has to take too many more of those.
Dillon throws a leg kick which misses Koso's front leg but catches the back leg as Koso tries to avoid it.

Koso is trying desperately to land a takedown but Dillon is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Koso.

Dillon throws a push kick but Koso slaps the foot to one side.

and Dillon counters with a thumping low kick.

Dillon tries to land a front kick but Koso steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

It looks like Dillon has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

Koso lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dillon circles away quickly and effectively.

Dillon escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Dillon stuffs the takedown attempt from Koso. Koso gets slowly back to his feet.

Koso lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Koso shoots in but no luck this time.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Dillon.
Dillon throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Dillon throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
And Koso tries to counter it with a takedown but Dillon pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Koso tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dillon paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Koso is looking for the big counter here.
You can see that Koso has visibly slowed down as a result of the leg kicks

Both fighters circling a little - Dillon finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Dillon dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Koso. That did some damage!

Koso fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Dillon, pushing him back against the cage.
Speva Koso has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
JT Dillon is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Koso tries to throw a body punch but Dillon avoids it by throwing Koso back against the cage.

JT Dillon showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Dillon has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
