Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Marco Blurström and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Deluxe shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
James wants to get back to full guard.
James is trying to maintain the position but Deluxe is very close to passing his half guard.
Deluxe trying to control the action but James is working from the bottom.
Deluxe prevents James from improving his position.
James won't allow Deluxe to pass to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
James is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Deluxe pulls his head out easily.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
James keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Jesse James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Deluxe has a takedown stuffed.
Deluxe gets caught flat footed, as James shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Deluxe looking for a guillotine here but James defends easily.
Deluxe is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

James tries to free his leg and advance position but Deluxe is retaining full guard.
James has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Deluxe had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. James is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Deluxe Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take James's back instead.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
James breaks Deluxe's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Deluxe avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
James drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and James jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
James stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Deluxe swivels though and keeps the full guard.
James drops back looking for a leg! Deluxe is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Deluxe manages to kick James off! James jumps back into Deluxe's guard.
James wants to pass the guard but Deluxe is keeping the position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
James shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Deluxe decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in James's guard.

James has his foot on Deluxe's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Deluxe works his way back into a safe position though.
Deluxe is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Grand Deluxe dominated that round.
That's time! James's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

and James counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Deluxe working for a triangle but James defends it easily.
James tries to free his leg and advance position but Deluxe is retaining full guard.

James passes Deluxe's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
James is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Deluxe defends it well.
James is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
James wants to control but Deluxe is keeping him busy.

Deluxe looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
James passes to full mount!
James looking to isolate an arm here. Deluxe doesn't see it coming and as James extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by James!
