Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dancing Dave (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronald Schultz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ronald Schultz!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Paul Gruel and Jeff Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dave lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Dave tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Schultz is able to avoid easily.
Dave moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromSchultz.
Dave looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Good leg kick by Dave there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Dave throws a chopping leg kick but Schultz manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Schultz has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Schultz shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Dave sprawls well. Dave wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Schultz gets slowly back to his feet.

Dave lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Dave lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Schultz's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Schultz on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Dave. Dave obviously looking to wear him down.
Dave turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Dancing Dave seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dave bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Schultz moves out of range of the body kick from Dave.
Dave cracks the inside of Schultz's front leg.
A solid leg kick lands there for Dave.
Schultz shoots in for a takedown but Dave shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Dave looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Dancing Dave has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ronald Schultz.
Dave lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Schultz takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Dave throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Dave lands a leg kick that knocks Schultz off balance momentarily.
Schultz doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Schultz tries to move into range but Dave moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Dave throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Schultz was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Dave scores with a spinning back kick!
Schultz has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Dave.
Dave with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Schultz chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Dave can pounce on him.
Dave throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Schultz stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Dave takes a swing at Schultz's ribcage but misses.
Dave lands a jab to Schultz's midsection.
Schultz avoids the head kick by Dave.
Dave dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Schultz. That did some damage!
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Dave - that will leave a mark!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dave throws a leg kick which misses Schultz's front leg but catches the back leg as Schultz tries to avoid it.
