Marfil has chosen New Divide as his entrance music. Jienaro Marfil is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marfil misses with a body shot.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Gracie.
Gracie avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Marfil keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Gracie has a takedown stuffed.

Gracie shoots in and bounces Marfil off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Gracie is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Gracie is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Marfil is just riding it out for now. Gracie eventually gives up the hold.
Gracie is keen to just control but Marfil is a slippery customer.

Gracie unloads with some shots from mount but Marfil bucks and avoids them well.

Marfil wants to hold on but Gracie pushes him away.
