Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Diego Falcao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pierre Garcon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Falcao comes to the cage accompanied by Charon - Sorrow Song. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Falcao chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Garcon can pounce on him.

Garcon shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Falcao but Falcao pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Garcon dives in for a single leg takedown but Falcao sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Diego Falcao has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pierre Garcon.
Falcao is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Garcon! But no joy.

Falcao lands with a kick to the temple. Garcon shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Falcao was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Garcon throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Falcao throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

and Garcon cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Diego Falcao is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Falcao feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Garcons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Falcao seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Falcao throws a big shot that misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Pierre Garcon will probably get the nod.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Garcon backs away from a small jab... but Falcao lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Garcon crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Falcao with a spectacular finish!

A very excited looking Diego Falcao rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
