The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson throws a jab but it's blocked by Arnold.
Arnold let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Johnson misses with a looping left.
Adrian Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Arnold misses with a takedown attempt
and Johnson counters with a right hand to the body.
Johnson connects with a body shot.
Arnold shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Johnson as he avoids it easily.
It looked like Johnson was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Arnold.
Arnold closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Arnold jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Johnson walks away with a smile on his face. Arnold gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

A nice side step and Arnold releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Johnson shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Johnson throws a lazy right hand but Arnold sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Arnold shoots in looking for a takedown. Johnson tries to sprawl out of it but Arnold keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Johnson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Johnson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Arnold manages to avoid it.
Johnson stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Johnson looks to score with a jab to the body but Arnold is just out of range.
Arnold takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Arnold shoots in and drives through. Johnson sprawls well.
Arnold tries to close the distance and clinch but Johnson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Arnold is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Johnson is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Arnold scores with a couple of nice shots.

Arnold wants to control the pace but Johnson is squirming around nicely.
Arnold looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Arnold controlling the pace for now.
Johnson holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Arnold tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Arnold takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Arnold looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Arnold postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Johnson looks a forlorn figure.
Arnold is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Arnold extends the arm and Johnson is forced to tap!
