Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shane Gallagher!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alberto Diaz!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Diaz throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Gallagher tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Diaz is in Gallagher's guard.

Gallagher pushes Diaz off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Diaz decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Gallagher trying to get back to full guard but Diaz takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Diaz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gallagher swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

That was a close second round but I would say that Shane Gallagher will probably get the nod.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Well Diaz has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
