Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hugo Carmody (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Silvio Gasaspo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Hugo Carmody has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Gasaspo tries to keep at a distance but Carmody has taken the fight into the clinch.

Gasaspo jumps guard and drags Carmody to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Carmody has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Gasaspo had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Carmody defends it easily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Gasaspo has his foot on Carmody's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Carmody works his way back into a safe position though.

Gasaspo looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Carmody is defending well. Gasaspo quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Carmody has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Gasaspo celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
