The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick from Bonn lands but Kovalev takes it in his stride.

It looks like Peter Kovalev has been cut.
Kovalev throws a head kick that misses.

Bonn feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Nice defenses there by Bonn.
Bonn clobbers Kovalev with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Bonn rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kovalev moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Kovalev misses with a left hand
and Kovalev takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Kovalev is rocked!
Bonn lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Kovalev misses with an attempted mid kick.
Bonn thinks about countering with a head kick.
Kovalev misses with an uppercut. Bonn saw that one coming.

Bonn cracks Kovalev with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Bonn has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Kovalev to stand back up!
Kovalev is still on wobbly legs! Can Bonn finish him?
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kovalev misses with a double jab.
Bonn lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Kovalev - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Bonn!
