The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karpinski tries to close the distance and clinch but Grimes swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Karpinski rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Grimes moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Karpinski drops Grimes with a beautiful combination! Grimes stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Karpinski is looking for the KO!

Grimes is rocked!

It looks like Harvey Grimes has been cut.

Karpinski has managed to clinch.
Oh Grimes is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Karpinski is trying to trip Grimes. He has hold of a leg but Grimes is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Karpinski persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Karpinski gets to his feet and stands over Grimes, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Grimes felt that one! Karpinski unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Grimes from any more punishment!
