Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Ivan Kozlov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bayram Han Turkmen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ivan Kozlov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bayram Han Turkmen!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, David Hoff and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Turkmen has taken the fight to the clinch.
A right hand to the body from Turkmen.
Turkmen comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Turkmen with a knee to the head.
Turkmen throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Kozlov is trying to stall.
Turkmen misses with an elbow over the top.
Kozlov stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Kozlov throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Turkmen lands a nice elbow.
Turkmen looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Kozlov blocks the elbow strike.
Turkmen misses with an elbow strike.
Turkmen pushes off an throws an elbow but Kozlov leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the ropes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kozlov dodges an elbow strike from Turkmen.
Turkmen's coach down at The Bear's Den was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Turkmen's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Turkmen tries to land a knee to the head but Kozlov blocks with his arms.

Kozlov trying to control the position but instead, Turkmen has worked for underhooks and has pushed Kozlov into the ropes.
Kozlov lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Turkmen using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Kozlov has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Turkmen takes a shot to the head.
Kozlov wants to stall.
Turkmen misses with an elbow strike.
Turkmen lands an elbow inside.
Turkmen with an attempt at a knee that misses.

Turkmen connects with a nasty looking knee right to Kozlov's face.
Kozlov is trying to break free.
Turkmen misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Kozlov.
Kozlov avoids a wild elbow strike from Turkmen.

Turkmen lands a shoulder strike.
Turkmen landing knees to the body.
Kozlov gets through Turkmen's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kozlov makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Kozlov lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Turkmen pushes off an throws an elbow but Kozlov leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the ropes.
Kozlov lands an elbow that stopped Turkmen in his tracks for a moment.

It looks like Bayram Han Turkmen has been cut.
Turkmen throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Turkmen is still on wobbly legs! Can Kozlov finish him?
Turkmen lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

Turkmen lands a right hand that snaps the head of Kozlov backwards.

Turkmen pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the ropes.
Turkmen seems to have recovered his senses.
Kozlov lands a shot to the body.

A nice glancing elbow lands by Kozlov.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Kozlov.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Turkmen as Kozlov tries to tie him up.

Kozlov comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Kozlov lands a hook that snaps the head of Turkmen backwards.
Kozlov tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

A short left from Kozlov.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Kozlov.
Kozlov trying to stall but Turkmen improves his position.

Kozlov creates a bit of space for himself and unleashed what can only be described as a tiger uppercut, straight out of Street Fighter! Turkmen crashes to the mat! Can he make it back to his feet in time? 3,4,5, yes, he's made it back to his feet. He seems OK so it looks like we're going to continue!

BAM! Kozlov delivers a spinning backfist that drops Turkmen like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Spinning Backfist). Ivan Kozlov!
