Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Walloping Willy Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Todd Tucker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tucker has chosen The Platters - Only You as his entrance music. Todd Tucker is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Walloping Willy Wallace!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 64 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Todd Tucker!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Vladimir Khabensky and Igor Prikhodko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wallace shoots in for a double leg but Tucker sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Tucker looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
A slapping leg kick lands for Wallace.
Wallace tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tucker sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Wallace somewhat.
Wallace shoots in for a double leg but Tucker sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Walloping Willy Wallace. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tucker tries a head kick but it misses.
As Tucker tries to get set, Wallace tries to push him back and clinch up but Tucker manages to avoid the attempt.
Tucker has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Wallace.
Wallace changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tucker tries to avoid it but Wallace manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tucker to the ground. Tucker escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Wallace fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Tucker avoids it really well and circles away.
Tucker throws a sloppy head kick
and Wallace counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Wallace lands a big head kick that sends Tucker tumbling to the mat! Wallace takes a step backwards and waves Tucker back to his feet - he wants the finish!


It looks like Todd Tucker has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Wallace fails to land the takedown.
Tucker feints the counter takedown.
Tucker throws a head kick that misses.
Wallace goes for a double leg but Tucker avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Tucker continues to drive forward.

Wallace clinches with his opponent.
Wallace is struggling to control the position.
Wallace unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Wallace tries for a takedown but Tucker manages to get underhooks.
Wallace lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Tucker backwards.

Wallace gets control of Tucker's arms and successfully pulls guard. Wallace will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Wallace is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Wallace scoring with strikes to the body and head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wallace is looking for a kimura here.

Tucker is defending against the submission attempts here by Wallace.
Wallace works his way into full mount!
Tucker is trying to stand up.

Wallace tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Wallace seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Tucker for as long as he can get away with.
Wallace looking to control but Tucker is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Tucker squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Wallace misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Wallace throwing strikes here but Tucker is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Tucker wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Wallace.
Wallace takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Wallace working for a submission but Tucker is keeping him at bay.
Wallace scoring with strikes but Tucker is staying in there.
Tucker is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Wallace has taken his back!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Walloping Willy Wallace dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Todd Tucker's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


A telegraphed takedown attempt from Wallace is defended easily by Tucker.
Wallace is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Tucker can do to turn this around?
Tucker tries a head kick but it misses.
OH! Tucker has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Wallace smells blood and charges in for the finish! Wallace unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Tucker sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Walloping Willy Wallace!
Todd Tucker spoke after the fight, saying 'Thank you for this opportunity to fight. There's a really nice bridge near my house, I'm going to jump off it.'.
