Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jarred Bowers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marzena Ciechan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marzena Ciechan will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Bowers gets tackled into the cage by Ciechan. Ciechan maintains the clinch.
Bowers is looking to control Ciechan's arms but Ciechan gets an underhook and turns him. Now Bowers has his back to the cage.
Ciechan putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Bowers in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Bowers goes for a takedown attempt but Ciechan pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Bowers could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ciechan jumps guard and drags Bowers to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ciechan is on top in guard.
