The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kelltonville rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Botwin moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Kelltonville looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Kelltonville ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Botwin scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Kelltonville gets back to full guard.

Botwin thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Botwin looks gassed!

Kelltonville escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Botwin gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Botwin won't allow Kelltonville to sweep him here.

Kelltonville tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Kelltonville working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Botwin doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Botwin manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Kelltonville manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Botwin manages to get himself to full guard.
Kelltonville trying to control the position from guard on top but Botwin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Kelltonville stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Botwin swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Kelltonville passes Botwin's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Kelltonville is looking for a kimura but Botwin is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Kelltonville to get the leverage.
Kelltonville wants to lay and pray for a moment but Botwin keeps working.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kelltonville works his way into full mount!

Botwin is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Kelltonville locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Botwin is forced to tap!
