Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Arkadio Moralez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Opel Astra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Opel Astra will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Opel Astra!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Marco Blurström and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Astra looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Moralez is fending him off so far but Astra persists. Nope, Moralez circles away and we're back to standing.
Moralez fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Astra, pushing him back against the cage.
Moralez prevents a takedown attempt there.
Astra has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Moralez after a bit of a struggle.
Arkadio Moralez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Opel Astra.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Astra tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Moralez's elbow.
Moralez has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Astra clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Astra is trying to get back to his feet. He's worked up on to his knees and now he's on his feet with his head on the canvas, trying to shake Moralez off. It looks like it's working - Moralez slides off, much to his dismay, and we're back to standing! Astra displaying calm under pressure there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Moralez is landing with some decent strikes but Astra is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Astra is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Moralez wants to stand up but Astra has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Moralez has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Moralez connects with a nice short shot to Astra's temple.

Moralez is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Astra's shoulder. That is not cool.
Astra wants to control but Moralez postures up.

Astra tries to bench press Moralez off him but Moralez keeps the position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Moralez wants to stand but Astra is controlling his arm.
Astra is trying to control Moralez's posture but Moralez avoids it.
Moralez lands a few punches from side control.

Astra tries to buck Moralez off but Moralez is having none of it.
Moralez lands a decent elbow from side control.
Moralez cracks Astra with a big right hand but Astra just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
The referee asks Moralez politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Moralez prefers to stall for the moment though.

Moralez wants to stand but Astra has his arm trapped.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Moralez has hold of Astra's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Astra tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Moralez cranks the arm and Astra screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Astra, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
