The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gaultier sizes up Du Preez with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Du Preez walks straight into a right hand from Gaultier - that's dropped him! Gaultier jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Du Preez from any more punishment! Du Preez complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

During a confident post fight interview, Lyon Gaultier thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
