Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ktos Non (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kane Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ktos Non!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kane Smith!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yuuki Gou and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Smith has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Non finds it's way round the side to connect with Smith's head.
Smith throws a right hand that Non ducks under and follows up with a left that Non also avoids with ease.
Non stuffs the takedown.
Smith throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Non counters with a nice body shot.

Smith is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Non's half guard.

Smith is working for a submission of some sort.
Non is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Smith's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Smith's back!

Smith is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Non gets his way!
Smith is trying to get back to his feet but Non has full control of the position and if anything, Smith has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Smith gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Smith dives in and grabs Non's left leg, looking for a takedown. Non pushes down on Smith's head and hops out.
Non lands a nice shot to the body.

Ktos Non has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kane Smith.

Non throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Smith on the side of the head.
Smith takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Smith looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Non is fending him off so far but Smith persists. Nope, Non circles away and we're back to standing.
Non scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

and Non makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Smith has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Non finds it's way round the side to connect with Smith's head.

Non scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Smith takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Non comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Non stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Non wants it to stay on the feet.
Smith takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Smith moves forwards but Non connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Non lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Smith gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Non lands a slapping body shot.

Smith shoots in and gets a takedown into Non's guard.

Smith got a little sloppy there for a moment and Non has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Smith has managed to get both his arms back between Non's legs - danger averted.

Non has his foot on Smith's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Smith works his way back into a safe position though.

Non working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Smith doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Smith manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Smith is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Non doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Smith.

Smith looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Non with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Smith walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Non cracks Smith with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Kane Smith is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Smith goes for a double leg but Non avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Non continues to drive forward.
Non smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Non connects with a body shot that sends Smith's belly button to the back.

Smith has control of Non's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Non regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Smith throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Non because Smith loaded up on that one.

Smith is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Non defends it well.

Ktos Non is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Non holds on and takes a little breather.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ktos Non.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Non, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
