Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kerry Hatzioannides (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeffrey Bourdeau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Kerry Hatzioannides has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hatzioannides showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Bourdeau.
Hatzioannides looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Bourdeau closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Bourdeau lands in his opponent's guard.

Bourdeau closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Bourdeau wants to work for an arm triangle but Hatzioannides is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Hatzioannides pushes Bourdeau off looking to stand but Bourdeau dives back in and keeps control.

Bourdeau looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Hatzioannides with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Hatzioannides throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Bourdeau pushes Hatzioannides off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
