The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joyner shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Myasof as he avoids it easily.
Joyner tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Joyner fails with a takedown attempt.

Joyner gets caught flat footed, as Myasof shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Joyner pushes Myasof off and gets back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Joyner looks to land a left hand but Myasof moved out of range nicely.

Myasof gets in close and instigates a clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Joyner is trying to maintain a safe position but Myasof gets an underhook and turns Joyner into the cage.

Joyner tries to score a body lock takedown but Myasof shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Myasof has his foot on Joyner's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Joyner works his way back into a safe position though.

Myasof pushes Joyner off and gets back to his feet.
Fry Myasof seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Joyner closes the distance and clinches up with Myasof, looking for a takedown. Joyner pushes Myasof against the cage but Myasof circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Myasof has taken the fight to the clinch.

Myasof has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Joyner clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Myasof gets his hands free as Joyner looks to control.
Myasof has the hooks in. Joyner is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

The fight stays on the outside here - Myasof looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Joyner looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Myasof moves into range and clinches up with Joyner.

Myasof's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Myasof closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Joyner did well to prevent Myasof getting side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Joyner is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Myasof is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Joyner is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Myasof is trying to escape and Joyner transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Myasof is forced to tap! Nice work there by Joyner! Very nice indeed!
