Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koreshkov fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Slovenija, pushing him back against the cage.
Slovenija jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Koreshkov walks away with a smile on his face. Slovenija gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Slovenija shoots in looking for a takedown. Koreshkov tries to sprawl out of it but Slovenija keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Koreshkov manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Slovenija doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Koreshkov counters with a series of strikes. Slovenija will be more careful next time no doubt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Milan Slovenija. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Koreshkov stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Koreshkov wants it to stay on the feet.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Koreshkov counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Slovenija has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Koreshkov uses from the top position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Slovenija has his feet on Koreshkov's thighs here. He's pushed Koreshkov off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Koreshkov screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
