Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Buster Leon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seth Snake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Seth Snake is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Buster Leon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Seth Snake!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leon blocks a head kick by Snake.

Snake scores with a takedown into Leon's guard.

Snake avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Leon controls Snake momentarily but Snake frees himself.
Snake working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Snake drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Leon dives on top into guard.

Leon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Snake on the ground.

Snake looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Leon is looking to stand up but Snake won't let him.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Leon wants to stand and escape but instead Snake has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Snake won't allow Leon to get back to his feet.
Snake would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Snake throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Snake wants to control from the top but Leon keeps moving.
Snake wants to stand but Leon is controlling his posture from full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Snake working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Leon's head.
Snake has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Leon is looking to stand back up but Snake counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Leon.
Leon is refusing to be controlled, as Snake sits in half guard.

Snake is working for a submission of some sort.
Snake wants to control but Leon is keeping him busy.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Leon pushes Snake off but Snake dives into side control.
Snake happy to just control the position for now.
Leon wants to get back to his feet but Snake is dominant here and he's now got Leon's back!
Leon is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
Leon has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Snake.

Snake has got one arm under Leon's chin. This could be trouble... Leon trying to control the other hand but Snake gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Leon has tapped out! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Seth Snake!
