PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Boyko Kersikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Titan Rain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kersikov comes into the arena with Avicii - Broken Arrows blaring out of the sound system. Rain has chosen Die for Metal as his entrance music. Boyko Kersikov could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Titan Rain's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Boyko Kersikov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 3 - 3, fighting out of Los Angeles, Titan Rain!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rain bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Kersikov moves out of range as Rain strikes.
Kersikov attempts a counter takedown but Rain avoids it well and moves away.
Kersikov punishes Rain's body with a nice straight punch.

letting Kersikov counter with a right hand.

Kersikov throws a leg kick but Rain moved away.
Kersikov fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Rain has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Rain's coach down at Heavy Metal was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Rain's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Rain throws a leg kick which misses Kersikov's front leg but catches the back leg as Kersikov tries to avoid it.

I would just about give that final round to Titan Rain.
