Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johan Farfy Iii!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kanga Roos!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Fujiwara and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Roos manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Farfy Iii on his heels. He'll look to pass Farfy Iii's guard now, I'm sure.
Roos postures up in Farfy Iii's guard and throws a big left but Farfy Iii blocks it.

Farfy Iii has his foot on Roos's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Roos works his way back into a safe position though.

Roos postures up and lands a big shot to Farfy Iii's brow.
Farfy Iii looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Farfy Iii looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Farfy Iii is on top in guard.

Farfy Iii is looking to work some ground and pound but Roos has wrist control.
Farfy Iii with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Farfy Iii throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Roos works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Roos working for a triangle but Farfy Iii defends it easily.

Roos has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Farfy Iii can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Roos escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Farfy Iii gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

That's one minute gone in the round.

It looks like Kanga Roos has been cut.

Roos looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Farfy Iii avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Farfy Iii with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.


That has opened up Kanga Roos's cut even more.
Farfy Iii works over Roos with some ground and pound from guard.


The cut above Kanga Roos's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Farfy Iii connects with a couple of short punches.


Kanga Roos's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Kanga Roos's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Johan Farfy Iii!
