The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Uno clinches up against the cage.
Uno gets underhooks to prevent Howard's takedown attempt.
Howard tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Howard tries to land knees in the clinch but Uno avoids the damage to the body.
Howard tries for a takedown but Uno manages to get underhooks.

Howard jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Uno walks away with a smile on his face. Howard gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Uno clinches with his opponent.
Howard tries to circle away but Uno has him pinned against the cage.
Uno throws a punch but it's blocked by Howard.

Howard decides to pull guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Howard has his foot on Uno's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Uno works his way back into a safe position though.
Uno has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Howard thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Howard has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Uno postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Uno wants to get up but he can't break Howard's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Howard has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Uno is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
