Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Texas Holdem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuri Kyznetsov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Texas Holdem!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yuri Kyznetsov!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kyznetsov takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Holdem closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Kyznetsov is still in real trouble! Can Holdem finish him?
Kyznetsov is pushing down on Holdem's leg trying to pass to half guard. Holdem is fighting to maintain full guard but Kyznetsov has managed to sneak the leg through.
Kyznetsov seems to have recovered his senses.
Holdem regains full guard. Nicely done.
Holdem throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Holdem is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Kyznetsov wants to control from the top but Holdem keeps moving.
Holdem is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Holdem is pressing down on Kyznetsov's thigh, looking to free his foot. Kyznetsov is holding on for now.
Kyznetsov is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

Holdem wants to control but Kyznetsov is keeping him busy.
Holdem is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Kyznetsov is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Holdem frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Kyznetsov wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Holdem is really struggling to control Kyznetsov but he's trying to hold on to the position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Holdem wants to control the pace but Kyznetsov is squirming around nicely.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Kyznetsov is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Texas Holdem dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Kyznetsov walks into a left hand.
Texas Holdem seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A jab from Holdem does it's job there.
Kyznetsov keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Holdem pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Kyznetsov back to the cage. Holdem follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Kyznetsov takes one on the button.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Holdem lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Holdem closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Holdem lands in his opponent's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Kyznetsov is staying active underneath Holdem, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Holdem is just content to waste time from the top position. Kyznetsov takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Kyznetsov trying to keep a closed guard but Holdem is proving a slippery customer.
Holdem throws a strike but Kyznetsov rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Holdem manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kyznetsov manages to get himself to full guard.

Holdem wants to control from the top but Kyznetsov keeps moving.

Holdem passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Kyznetsov is being controlled here.
Kyznetsov is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Holdem connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Kyznetsov some visible discomfort.
Kyznetsov is not content to let Holdem control the position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Kyznetsov tries to bench press Holdem off him but Holdem keeps the position.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Holdem just content to control the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Holdem lands a lovely overhand right.

Holdem shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Kyznetsov is trying to defend but Holdem finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Kyznetsov is not content to let Holdem control the position.

Holdem thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Holdem throwing shots but Kyznetsov is blocking nicely.
Holdem is controlling the pace.
Holdem seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Kyznetsov for as long as he can get away with.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Holdem moves into the clinch.

Holdem drags the fight down to the ground.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kyznetsov accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Holdem looking for a triangle here. Kyznetsov is fighting it but it looks tight! Holdem pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Kyznetsov is tapping out - this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:49 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Texas Holdem!
