Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Grossman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miguel Grace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miguel Grace will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grossman shoots in and drives through. Grace sprawls well.

Grossman shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Grace's guard.

Grace is scooting his butt against the ropes and has managed to get back to his feet. Grossman presses him back against the ropes, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Grace escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Grace feints a jab promting Grossman to slip. Grace then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Grossman slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Grossman takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Grossman drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Grossman jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Grossman is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Grace bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Grossman's guard.

Grossman has his foot on Grace's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Grace works his way back into a safe position though.

Grossman escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Grace gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Grace has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Palace of Pain Gym - VCL - Rio. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
