Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Marlin Paschal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rune Ankjrll (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ankjrll has chosen Laibach as his entrance music. Rune Ankjrll struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 157.9lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Paschal closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Ankjrll quickly recovers to half guard.
Ankjrll looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Paschal looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ankjrll with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Paschal is looking for a kimura but Ankjrll is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Paschal to get the leverage.

Paschal has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
