Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, David Wuzz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Onizuka Stresemann!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Jeff Smith and Paul Gruel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stresemann moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Stresemann closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Wuzz to the mat! Wuzz manages to get full guard.

Wuzz utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Stresemann landing some decent shots from guard.
Wuzz lands a decent punch to the body there.
Wuzz throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Wuzz has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Stresemann got a little sloppy there for a moment and Wuzz has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Stresemann has managed to get both his arms back between Wuzz's legs - danger averted.
Stresemann wants to control from the top but Wuzz keeps moving.
Wuzz will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wuzz had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Stresemann defends it easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wuzz is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Stresemann frees his head nicely. Oh but Wuzz has switched to an armbar! Stresemann is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

David Wuzz gave a mention to Urban Fighter in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
