Serlal's entrance music is Mortal Kombat . A fine choice. Mabogo has chosen 3 Doors Down - Duck and Run as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Zbermat Serlal could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Kenalemodisa Mabogo's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mabogo shoots in for a takedown but Serlal shows good takedown defense.
It looked like Serlal was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Mabogo.
Serlal scores with a hook.

Mabogo darts in and clinches Serlal up against the cage.
Serlal is trying to pull guard but Mabogo turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Serlal jumps guard but Mabogo stands there with Serlal around his waist. Serlal gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zbermat Serlal. That's going to take a lot out of him.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Mabogo creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Serlal jumps guard but Mabogo turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

A little feinted left hand from Serlal on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Serlal ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mabogo moves away.

Serlal tries to pull guard but Mabogo forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Serlal jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Mabogo walks away with a smile on his face. Serlal gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Mabogo drives through with a takedown into Serlal's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Mabogo working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Let's hope that Mabogo has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Serlal enables Mabogo to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Serlal manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Mabogo wants to control from the top but Serlal keeps moving.
Serlal is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Mabogo wants to control but Serlal is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Mabogo is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Serlal postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Mabogo badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Serlal around the waist but Serlal pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Serlal is the winner by TKO! Serlal jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
