Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rich Lindsay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barristan Cerrone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rich Lindsay!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Barristan Cerrone!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cerrone misses with a wild combination.
Cerrone looks to clinch

and Lindsay counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Lindsay gets to his feet - Cerrone follows without any prompting.
Lindsay swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Lindsay takes one to the side of the head.
Cerrone throws a right and a left that Lindsay avoids nicely.
Lindsay moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

It looks like Barristan Cerrone has been cut.
Barristan Cerrone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cerrone doesn't manage to clinch there - Lindsay circles away.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Cerrone is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Lindsay.
Lindsay goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Cerrone is rocked!
Cerrone tries to clinch up.
Lindsay wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Lindsay lands with a thumping leg kick.
Lindsay avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Cerrone gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Lindsay to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Lindsay decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Cerrone, up you get!

Lindsay throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Cerrone tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Lindsay is in Cerrone's guard.

Lindsay stands and steps away. Cerrone gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Lindsay moves into the clinch.

Lindsay has Cerrone pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Lindsay pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Cerrone tumbling to the mat - Lindsay dives into Cerrone's guard.

Lindsay drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lindsay jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Lindsay is breathing heavily.
Lindsay advances position into side control!

Lindsay throws an elbow but Cerrone slips to the side and avoids it well.
Lindsay tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Cerrone is trying to escape the position but Lindsay is controlling the position.
You can see the frustration on Cerrone's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Lindsay controls the position.

Cerrone is looking to reverse the position.
Cerrone is trying to get back to his feet.
Lindsay has control of an arm but Cerrone manages to advance to Lindsay's back!
Lindsay manages to reverse the position and now he's in Cerrone's guard. Nice work there by Lindsay.
Lindsay won't allow Cerrone to get back to his feet.
Lindsay pushing down on Cerrone's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Lindsay is taking a breather. Cerrone says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Lindsay tries to pass the half guard into mount. Cerrone knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Lindsay prevents Cerrone from improving his position.

Lindsay stands up out of the half guard.
Lindsay scores with a nice body kick.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Cerrone wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Lindsay tries to pull guard but Cerrone forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rich Lindsay dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Barristan Cerrone's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Cerrone misses with a jab, cross combination.
Cerrone is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Rich Lindsay is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Lindsay looks to score with a jab to the body but Cerrone is just out of range.
Cerrone tries to clinch up but Lindsay circles away and keeps his distance.

Lindsay closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Lindsay looking to throw knees to the head but Cerrone is blocking nicely.
Lindsay stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Lindsay tries to pull guard but Cerrone forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lindsay breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

A low kick from Lindsay misses
and Cerrone counters with a three punch combo that has Lindsay backing up. Lindsay nods at Cerrone to acknowledge the strikes.
Cerrone avoids a punch combination nicely.
Cerrone misses with a double jab.

Lindsay closes the distance and clinches.

Lindsay's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Cerrone goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Cerrone is breathing heavily.
Lindsay takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Cerrone will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Lindsay takes the fight into the clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lindsay is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Cerrone pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Lindsay breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Lindsay changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Cerrone looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

Lindsay has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Cerrone fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Rich Lindsay is winning the standup battle so far.
Lindsay on the wrong end of a nice hook.

Lindsay is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Cerrone's half guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Lindsay looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Lindsay is trying for a kimura here. Cerrone looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Lindsay wins by kimura!
