The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, William Gold and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takasugi fails with an attempt to clinch.

Wayne lunges at Takasugi with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Takasugi's hand.
Takasugi throws a right hand that Wayne ducks under and follows up with a left that Wayne also avoids with ease.
It seemed like Wayne was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Takasugi takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Takasugi tries to bum rush Wayne with a series of wild strikes but Wayne uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Takasugi takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

and Wayne connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
We've been informed that Wayne has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Wayne lands with a shot to the body.
Wayne lands a big head kick that sends Takasugi tumbling to the mat! Wayne takes a step backwards and waves Takasugi back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Wayne is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Takasugi tries to clinch but Wayne moves out of range.
Wayne connects with a leg kick. Takasugi looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Takasugi shoots in and drives through. Wayne sprawls well.

Takasugi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Wayne tries to avoid it but Takasugi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Wayne to the ground. Wayne escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Keisuke Takasugi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Takasugi shoots in for a double leg but Wayne sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Wayne has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Wayne cracks Takasugi with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Takasugi looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Wayne finish him?
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Takasugi walks forward, straight into a front kick from Wayne.
Wayne throws a leg kick which misses Takasugi's front leg but catches the back leg as Takasugi tries to avoid it.
Takasugi tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wayne sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Takasugi somewhat.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Wayne feints a jab and as Takasugi dips his head, Wayne unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Takasugi right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Takasugi falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Wayne smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Bruce Wayne!
