Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Natura Barbecue (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Voitto Tuska (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Natura Barbecue has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barbecue keeps the fight on the outside.

Barbecue drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Barbecue drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Barbecue jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Tuska controls Barbecue momentarily but Barbecue frees himself.
Tuska is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Tuska had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Barbecue is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Tuska Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Barbecue's back instead.
Tuska lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Barbecue hold on?!

Tuska is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Tuska gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Tuska gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Tuska apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Tuska has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Barbecue works to advance to full mount. Tuska defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Voitto Tuska showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Barbecue has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Tuska should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Barbecue has tightened it up now! Tuska should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
