The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Renny Martin has been cut.
Martin definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Walker throws a right hand that misses
and Martin counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Martin ducks under a wild hook from Walker.
Walker looks to throw the jab but Martin is out of range.
Walker misses with a left hand
and Martin counters with a stiff right hand.
Martin fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Walker.
Martin lands with a thumping leg kick.
Paddy Walker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Walker lands a left and a right that send Martin crashing to the mat, dazed. Walker thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Walker misses with a hook. Martin ducked under it nicely.
Walker throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Martin sees it coming and avoids it easily.

and Martin counters by clinching up.
Walker tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Martin tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Walker's elbow.
Walker lands with a light punch inside.
Martin's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Martin tries a body shot but Walker blocks it.

Martin breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Walker throws a jab but it's blocked by Martin.

Walker swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Walker is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Walker's coach down at Highland CT & Spar was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Walker's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Walker missing with a left hand there. Martin was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Walker throws a right hand that misses

Martin throws a body shot but no joy.
Martin throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Martin uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Walker.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Martin, as that shot connected.
Walker might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Martin on the wrong end of a nice jab.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Martin.
Martin takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Martin comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Walker misses with a straight left.
A nice inside leg kick there by Martin. That's going to slow Walker down.
The crowd cheers as Walker lands an impressive looking overhand right. Martin doesn't seem phased though.

Martin misses with an uppercut. Walker saw that one coming.

Walker slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Walker throws the left hand but Martin avoids the punch easily.
Walker throws out a loose jab but Martin uses good head movement to avoid it.

Walker lands a big right hand that sends Martin crashing to the mat! Walker stays standing though and waves Martin back to his feet!
Martin is looking to wear down Walker with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Walker cracks Martin on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Martin falls backwards against the cage. Walker follows up with more strikes that drop Martin to his knees. Walker keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Martin! This one is all over!
