The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Efficient misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Piana counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Polite Efficient has been cut.
Piana throws a right hand that misses
and Efficient counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Efficient.
Efficient pushes Piana back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Efficient creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Piana with a big uppercut! Piana tries to clinch up but Efficient pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Piana to the mat! Piana covers up and Efficient unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Polite Efficient retains his light heavyweight title!
After the fight, Polite Efficient was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
