And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Anatoliy Kyznetsov!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Fedor Mirinova and Dmitry Maklakov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kyznetsov changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Snitsky looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Snitsky throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Nice sprawl there from Snitsky as Kyznetsov shoots in.
Kyznetsov dives in and grabs Snitsky's left leg, looking for a takedown. Snitsky pushes down on Kyznetsov's head and hops out.
Kyznetsov fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Snitsky throwing a counter right hand but Kyznetsov manages to avoid it.
Igor Snitsky has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anatoliy Kyznetsov.

Kyznetsov feints and as Snitsky raises his hands in defense, Kyznetsov changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Snitsky is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Kyznetsov gets to his feet. Snitsky looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Kyznetsov shoots in but no luck this time.
Kyznetsov goes for a double leg but Snitsky avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Snitsky continues to drive forward.
A little feinted left hand from Snitsky on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Kyznetsov shoots in looking for a takedown. Snitsky tries to sprawl out of it but Kyznetsov keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Snitsky manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Kyznetsov looking to score a takedown here. Snitsky is defending well but Kyznetsov drives through and ends up in Snitsky's guard.
Snitsky trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!

Kyznetsov decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Kyznetsov tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Snitsky swivels and escapes.
Snitsky was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Kyznetsov looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Snitsky is fending him off so far but Kyznetsov persists. Nope, Snitsky circles away and we're back to standing.
Kyznetsov shoots in looking for a takedown but Snitsky manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kyznetsov's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Anatoliy Kyznetsov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Kyznetsov is trying for a kimura here. Snitsky looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Kyznetsov wins by kimura!
