The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Vedhult.
Vedhult misses the jab.

Davis getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Vedhult lands a glancing blow to the side of Davis's head.
Davis looks to land a left hand but Vedhult moved out of range nicely.

Davis tries to bum rush Vedhult with a series of wild strikes but Vedhult uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Vedhult looks for a takedown but Davis sprawls well.

Davis drops his hands momentarily and Vedhult takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Davis throws a nice inside leg kick.
Vedhult misses the shot to the body.
Davis feints and then cracks Vedhult's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Vedhult down.
Vedhult throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Good leg kick by Davis there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

The crowd cheers as Davis lands an impressive looking overhand right. Vedhult doesn't seem phased though.
Vedhult throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Davis.

Davis knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Vedhult on the ground.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Davis throws a jab but it's blocked by Vedhult.
Taylor Davis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Davis scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Vedhult walks forward, straight into a front kick from Davis.
Davis buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Davis scores with a jab to the head.
Vedhult gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Davis cracks the inside of Vedhult's front leg.
Davis throws out a powerful jab.
Davis feints a jab and as Vedhult dips his head, Davis unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Vedhult right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Vedhult falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Davis smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
