Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Nufir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jani McPetteri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jani McPetteri told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Max Nufir!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jani McPetteri!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Arvi Lind and Roosa Järviläinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McPetteri turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Nice takedown defense from McPetteri. No joy for Nufir on that attempt.
Nufir definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Nufir fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
McPetteri throws a head kick but Nufir moves out of range.
McPetteri throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

McPetteri lands a big head kick that sends Nufir tumbling to the mat! McPetteri takes a step backwards and waves Nufir back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Nufir is rocked!

It looks like Max Nufir has been cut.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Oh Nufir is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nufir can't get the takedown.
Nufir seems to have got his legs back now.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Max Nufir. That's going to take a lot out of him.

McPetteri breaks the clinch.
Nufir is keeping his hands low and just asking to be knocked out. McPetteri Raises his leg and lands a stunning axe kick! Nufir is out cold, face down on the mat!
