The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sala fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Wilkins, pushing him back against the cage.
Sala lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Wilkins backwards.
A short left from Sala.
A hook to the body from Sala.
Wilkins goes for a takedown attempt but Sala pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Sala stuns Wilkins with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Wilkins closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Sala creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
A nice left hand lands by Sala.
Sala lands with a left to the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sala digs a right hand into Wilkins's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Wilkins's gas tank.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Sala creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

It looks like Miles Wilkins has been cut.
Sala's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Sala dips a shoulder and cracks Wilkins with a mighty uppercut! Wilkins falls back against the cage and Sala unloads with a barrage of strikes! Wilkins is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Sala screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
