PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Palko Zabijak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jyoti MacArthur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zabijak has a takedown stuffed.
MacArthur thinks about the counter body kick.
Zabijak fails in his attempt to clinch.
Zabijak tries to move into range but MacArthur moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
MacArthur walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Zabijak checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

and Zabijak takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Zabijak has closed the distance and engaged MacArthur in a clinch.
MacArthur leaning his opponent against the cage.
Zabijak is trying to drag MacArthur to the mat but MacArthur just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A bit of stalling here from MacArthur.
MacArthur can't break the clinch.
MacArthur lands a hook to the side of the head.
Zabijak tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. MacArthur smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Palko Zabijak. That's going to take a lot out of him.

MacArthur dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

MacArthur cracks Zabijak with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. MacArthur has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Zabijak to stand back up!
