And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Virgil Earp!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Gwen Towbar and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcgee misses with a leg kick.
Earp showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Mcgee.
Mcgee swinging wilding here.
Nice defenses there by Earp.
Mcgee shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
A lazy left from Earp finds it's target.

It looks like Traps Mcgee has been cut.
Earp on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Earp turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Earp throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mcgee swings away with a body shot that misses

and Earp counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Earp.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mcgee has a couple of punches blocked by Earp.
Earp lands an elbow inside.

Traps Mcgee's cut is getting worse.
Earp tries to land knees in the clinch but Mcgee avoids the damage to the body.
Mcgee misses with a hook from the clinch.
A looping hook to the body misses from Mcgee. Earp does a little dance to reset his feet.

Earp cracks the inside of Mcgee's front leg.
Mcgee is breathing heavily.
Earp throws a right and a left that Mcgee avoids nicely.
Earp lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Mcgee at a distance.
Earp steps into range and cracks Mcgee with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Mcgee flops backwards and Earp dives into his guard looking to finish!

Mcgee is rocked!
Earp is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Oh Mcgee is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Earp works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Mcgee seems to have got his legs back now.
Earp trying to control the pace.
Earp tries to stand and escape but Mcgee is controlling the position.
Earp is controlling the pace.
Mcgee tries to get to full guard but Earp has control of the leg.
Earp is taking a breather. Mcgee says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Earp is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Earp is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Mcgee is looking for a sweep. Earp is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Mcgee holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Mcgee wants to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
A big right from Mcgee misses.
Mcgee falls off balance throwing a combination
and Earp counters with a nice body kick.
Earp lands a big head kick that sends Mcgee to the canvas! Earp follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
