Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sly Marbo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Balls (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marbo scores with a crisp jab that stopped Balls in his tracks.
Marbo jabs Balls right on the nose. Balls blinks but takes it well.
Balls is looking to chop away at Marbo's legs.
Marbo lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Marbo fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Balls lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Marbo throws an overhand right that lands on Balls's shoulder, as Balls tries to avoid the shot.

Marbo fails in his attempt to clinch.
Balls shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Marbo connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Balls momentarily.
Balls fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
An inside leg kick lands from Balls.
Balls misses the shot to the body.
Balls's coach down at Cozad The Island was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Balls's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Marbo throws a looping overhand right but Balls ducks down to avoid it.
Balls looks for a takedown but Marbo sprawls well.
Sly Marbo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Harry Balls.

Balls throws a right hand that misses
and Marbo counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Balls lands with a thumping leg kick.

Marbo gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Marbo blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Balls misses with a hook to the ribs.
Balls swings wildly with an uppercut but Marbo uses good head movement to avoid it.
Marbo definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Marbo tries to pull guard but Balls holds him up against the cage and eventually Marbo drops back down to his feet.
Balls tries to work over Marbo's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Marbo pulls guard effortlessly.
Marbo has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Balls has passed into side control.
Marbo wants to control but Balls postures up.

Marbo is looking for a sweep.
Balls in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Balls creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Marbo sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Balls slows the pace down.
Balls throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
You can see the frustration on Marbo's face as Balls controls the position.
Marbo is looking to reverse the position.

Balls misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Balls tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Balls is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Balls decides to stand back up.
Marbo scores with a hook.
Marbo steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Balls.
Balls tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Marbo swivels and escapes.
Marbo swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Marbo scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Balls misses the shot to the body.

and Marbo counters with a straight right hand.
Marbo slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Marbo feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Ballss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Marbo avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sly Marbo dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Marbo scores with a jab. Balls acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Balls moves away from the strike by Marbo.
Balls tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Balls dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Marbo. That did some damage!
A looping hook to the body misses from Balls. Marbo does a little dance to reset his feet.
Marbo swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Marbo is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Balls can do to turn this around?
Balls shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Balls keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Balls is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Balls gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Balls is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Marbo throws a monster overhand right that drops Balls! Marbo follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
