Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Andrew James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Go Kenta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Andrew James!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Go Kenta!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Albert Achterberg and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

James looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
James is keen to just control but Kenta is a slippery customer.

James is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kenta doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time James.

James is working for a kimura but Kenta is defending it quite comfortably.

James is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Kenta has managed to free his arm - good work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
James is looking to take a break and control but Kenta is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Kenta is staying active underneath James, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

James looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

James is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Kenta tries to kick James off but James keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Go Kenta showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

James is looking for a kimura but Kenta is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for James to get the leverage.

James is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kenta sees it coming and defends easily.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

James is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kenta defends it well.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
